Who: Cisco and Savitar
What: A much-needed conversation

Cisco has been thinking about it for days. Mick had mentioned- off-hand in that way of his when he doesn't realize what he's saying is a bombshell- that Caitlin had patched up a speedster. One with scars.

It had taken a couple hours just to even process it. Savitar. Here. After everything he and Team Flash had done to stop the guy, he was still here. Still in their lives. For a day after that, he was angry. Furious, even. He'd threatened Cisco's friends; threatened everything that mattered to him. But the more he thought about it- really thought about it- the more the anger faded. He wasn't ready to forgive him for what he'd done, but he was level-headed enough to remember Savitar's motivations. The loneliness. The solitude. Freezing him out could start the whole process all over again. And that? Cisco isn't willing to risk it.

So after another day of psyching himself up, Cisco reaches out. He can't bring himself to video chat, so he sends him a text instead.

Savitar, I think we should talk. I'll be at the park this afternoon.

And then he spends about ten minutes panicking. What if the speedster decides to murder him? But he shoves that thought away. He needs to do this. For himself, if no other reason.

So he makes his way to the park, planting himself on a free bench to wait.

Fair enough. Cisco is just used to villains who are just as much bark as bite. Eobard managed to be terrifying even trapped and virtually powerless. But this isn't Eobard, is it? Savitar may not be Barry, but they're cut from the same cloth. There has to be some good in him.

"Because we're both trapped here. It may be a big city, but with the merging timelines, we're bound to run into each other. I thought maybe we should make that as painless as possible."

Savitar's bark is, honestly, less bark and more lashing out like a blinded, injured animal. For fair reasons, quite possibly.

"And how do you see that working, exactly?"

"I, uh, hadn't really thought that far, to be honest," he admits. "I just know that a crappy situation will only be crappier if we have to look over our shoulders all the time."

"So, what are you suggesting? Time out on hostilities, like football?" Is that even a thing in football? Like sports are the thing of any Barry Allen-type.

"I don't think that's a thing in football," he says, though Cisco isn't exactly an expert either. "Didn't they call an armistice or something during one of the World Wars for Christmas? We can do that, except, you know. Not for Christmas."

Savitar things about that. "The Christmas truce. But I get the point. Like between the Cylons and the humans before the pilot of Galactica." Oh, but he's not Barry Allen.

Cisco blinks. Blinks again. Nope. The scars are still there. This is definitely Savitar.

"Yes. Yes, exactly like that."

"Hm. Then I guess it's a good thing I don't know how to build a neutron bomb." Ha ha ha? "Fine. For now."

"I do," he points out. "But that's what a truce is for. No bomb-building. Cross my heart."

A wince. Maybe not the best expression.

Look, Cisco, he won't bring up hearts if you don't bring up hearts. Here he is, not bringing it up. "Guess that makes you the cylon, then. Fine," he repeats.

"Wait. Why am I the cylon?" He asks.

"The humans didn't bomb Caprica, did they?"

"Well, no. But I'm not the one who was all threat-y and ominous for months," he reminds.

"Just because I have armor doesn't make me a robot."

"Don't make this into me being mean," he huffs. "I'm just saying that if one of us was going to bomb a planet, it probably wouldn't be me."

"Whatever." Look, can he sit? He's going to sit. He just got thrown frm a ship, Cisco, just try to stop him from sitting.

Cisco shows no signs of wanting to stop him from sitting, though he does shift on the bench to face him more directly. Apparently he's staying for the moment. He's surprised, but not necessarily in a bad way.

"So are you total nerd under all that fringe, or was that a one-off?"

You try walking all this way with a broken arm after years of super speed. "...I wouldn't say total."

No. No. His whole day just got better.

"Are you for real?"

He raises an eyebrow. "...yes?"

"Who's your favorite Doctor?" he asks. He's had this conversation with Barry, but Savitar has made it clear that he isn't Barry. So he's happy to have this conversation again.

Wouldn't it be weird if they have different favorites? Or maybe it'd be appropriate, if he really does consider himself 'not Barry'. "Eleven." Pausing. "But I also liked the Cyber-Planner."

Oh of course he did.
