GuysguysguysguysGUYS! [There is one very excited teenager struggling not to vibrate his phone out of his hands or something equally awkward.]

You know how there's dragons everywhere, and they're really totally cool, well most of them. But, well, one of them apparently followed me home from a place I didn't even think actually existed. I called him a puppy there, and I guess that's kinda his name or something. He's a very good pet, helped us defeat this one giant killer robot and everything. So, without further ado...

[A moment while he finds something to prop the camera against before he brings the dog-sized purple reptilian thing back into view.]

Here's the puppy. Isn't he adorable? He already knows a couple tricks and everything. But, um, no baths, ever. Well, maybe if the fate of the world depends on it. Anyway, I'm so keeping him. Maybe he and Barney can have play-dates, right?

[[OOC: Yeeeah, he found the "puppy" from the sci-fi splinter reality the spirit behind Bedlam cooked up in the Young Justice 80-Page Giant. Normally quite manageable, it grows to kaiju dimensions when wet. But hopefully that won't be demonstrated any time soon.]]

You see the guy in on the screen, that's Grumpa. He's like, sorta my Grampa Barry, only he's a total poopypants. Not that it means you can bite him or step on him or anything.

[He turns to the phone again.]

I should think you'd be surprised to see something that was never a fixed timestream show up, too. But he saved us all from the evil robot Space Princess Arrowette accidentally set loose, and I didn't have to be the monkey that time, even. Usually when reality gets twisted, I end up with a tail, but that time, I got a puppy that isn't a puppy.

[Nope, Bart's a little too excited to listen, and, honestly, isn't sure he isn't talking at the edge of too fast to be understood as the purple scaly thing sits on his arm and he scratches it happily.]

You should get a pet. Then maybe you wouldn't be grumpy all the time.

Why would anything that happens here surprise me? If dragons didn't surprise me, why would this?

I don't know anyone you just mentioned.

And I don't want a pet.

Because it's something from my end of things. I means...maybe there's somewhere I can run home to, someday.

[Bart tries not to think about that, because he still sometimes doubts that he's in any position better than Savitar.]

It was never exposed to the Speed Force, so...I don't know, I'm still a little fuzzy on the finer points of temporal physics.

Most of the things here are from roughly the same world, or worlds in contact with that reality.

Maybe you just weren't looking in the right places. This guy's magical, after all. Or at least the being that shaped the version of reality it came from was. Magic is pretty scary shit.

[Ok so the enthusiasm is pretty cute and Barry is pretty sure he got that from at least some of Allen genes.] A play date sounds awesome.

But.. um. What is he exactly?

He's kinda a dragon. Well, when he's big he definitely looks like a dragon, but that would be totally awkward, so no getting him wet.

Although I suppose he could also be a magical construct. I found him in a sorta anime-esque rewrite with giant robots and everything. He took down the robot for us.

Gonna insist nobody find out what happens if you feed him after midnight, too? [Well, it is better than just calling the thing "Puppy."]

Or you guys could come over and see the Tower. Guess I'll have to lock down the swimming pool. Or drain it, but then it will take ages to fill again.

I'm not really doing all that much. If I don't run, I don't have to eat everything in sight to replace the energy I burn up.

[And, honestly, there wasn't all that much for a teenager to do on his own.]

So pretty much any time you're free, I probably will be.
