One minute, she's running from one end of the engineering lab to the classroom across campus, the next, she skids to a halt and is standing in what looks like a looming tower. She knows that she doesn't have speedster abilities, definitely not Earth-hopping abilities, but this? This is definitely not Central City.

Crystal Raymond looks around to try to get her bearings. Her yellow heels make for not great walking shoes as she hears the gravel crunch beneath the leather. She looks down at her phone and notices that it's acting strange, giving her options that she hadn't seen before. Strangely enough, her contacts seemed to have disappeared. It looks similar to her phone but definitely isn't it. Crys frowns at it then hits the video option and sends it to whomever she could reach.

"Hello? Is anyone out there?" she calls out, hoping the video would reach someone familiar, at the very least.

She's used to speedster sudden stops. But Crys still steps back a little when he does because, well--

"Weird, Jay doesn't do that," she mumbles under her breath. "Yeah," she says in a regular volume. "Really new. I, someone on that network said something about broken time? And then Gideon said something about broken time. But that's just weird because Gideon is still a minor operating system that B is testing out."

"Yeah, that's about the size of it," he agrees. Mention of Gideon though brings him up short, a little surprised. "You know about Gideon? I mean.. she's not a minor operating system, she's a fully functional AI."

[froststorm]

"Here, she is. Where I'm from, she isn't."

She offers him her hand with a half smile.

"Crystal Raymond. I'm a doctoral student over at CCU?"

"Where you're from.. so I'm guessing multiverse?" A grin as he takes her hand. "Barry Allen, CSI back home."

There's a barking call from somewhere over his shoulder and he glances over to see a feathered raptor juvenile loping in his direction. "And part time dinosaur wrangler."

[froststorm]

This multiverse is going to get real interesting real soon. She gives a small laugh at the raptor that seems to be practically galloping toward them.

"Are you...still friends with Ronnie Raymond and Caitlin Snow?" she asks, eyes on the raptor because it looked adorable.

If you ask Barry it's been pretty interesting for a while now. He holds up a hand and the raptor skids to a halt before peering suspiciously at Crystal. Then she asks about Ronnie and Caitlin and Barry's head snaps back around to her.

"I.. yeah. I mean, until Ronnie was killed." Until he failed to save him.

That gets her attention. The brunette turns her attention to the speedster. Killed. Multiverse theory. But it still strikes her a little. Crys bites her lip before choosing her words carefully.

"I'm so sorry for your loss."
