[The glitchy video opens to focus on Barry's metahuman watch on the table right in front of his communication device. If someone looks carefully, they could see just beyond that is the unfocused figure of Barry Allen...2 and the entire apartment surrounded by bolts of electricity emanating from his body. Instead of the usual fear that comes with Barry using his abilities, he seems to revel in the fact that his room is in disarray, that he could easily send bolts of electricity to destroy a lamp.]

[He turns his focus onto the meta watch and his face twists up into an angered expression before he extends a hand toward it and lets loose a bolt - destroying it and knocking the communication device off the table, effectively ending the broadcast.]

[Damnit. What the hell is it this time? Harry is grabbing a few things out of the workshop in order to fix the watch and heading over to check on his fellow Earth-2 counterpart.]

[commanderspecs]

[he'll find Barry standing there, still generating enough electricity to fill the room. He's playing with the currents that are moving in between his fingers]

[And now? Now Harry is really regretting not grabbing his rifle on the way out of the lab. So he settles for standing in the hallway, hopefully giving him enough time to run if he needs to.] Allen? Allen what are you doing?

[He looks at Harry]

I don't need your watch anymore. I think I've got enough of a handle on this on my own.

[He launches a lightning bolt near Harry]

[binarythinking]

Oh son of a.. [And he just dives out of the way as the lightning crackles overhead, impacting the wall with a resounding bang that makes his ears ring.] No, I don't think you do have a handle on it.

[He claws through his bag, examining what he has and just how well or how badly this half-formed plan is going to work..]

[commanderspecs]

I actually think I do. That's enough of poor helpless Barry Allen.

[He sends a bolt at the bag that Wells is holding. Barry looks angry]

I would have thought a man of your scientific stature would want to explore all of this. To know what amazing effects it could have. But really, you just wanted to repress me and cast me aside.

[binarythinking]

[The bolt connects with the leather and burns his hands, forcing Harry to drop what he was grabbing for with a grunt of pain. But only for a moment as he shoves a few things into his pockets.] You were never helpless you idiot.

You asked for that device because you were afraid of hurting someone, don't you remember? I did it to help you!

[commanderspecs]

How stupid of me. All of this power and I wanted to hide it all away?

[He shakes his head.]

I could do so much with this. To heck with being a CSI.

[He stares down his fellow Earth Two citizen.]

Don't try to stop me.

[binarythinking]

[At least that's a sign that somehow Barry is still in there. Harry pulls himself to his feet.] You can do something with that power of yours, but you should do it for the right reasons, Allen.

Hurt people and that's exactly what I'll do.

Yes, I can.

[He screws his face up and concentrates. Barry's entire body turns into an electrical current]

I can use it to make my place in the world. Starting with this one!

[He lunges at him]

[Shit shit shit.
Harry throws himself to the side and he runs. He doesn't look back. He's been chased by the likes of Zoom. When that happens you run and you do not spare a second to look back.

If he can get away he can work on a mobile dampener to slow Barry down.]

[commanderspecs]

[He's not fast as a speedster but he's pretty fast. Barry chases down Harry, following along different electric poles and cables to follow him]

[Fine, if he's using the cables to follow him, Harry is going to change direction and bolt for Camelot. It won't have any of the tools that he needs, but it might just buy him enough time to think.]

[commanderspecs]

[He'll change directions and head straight for Coast City, then. There's probably fun things to do there.]

[kid_flash_found]

A crackle of a very different kind of lightning heralds the arrival of a worried teen. He thought this version of Grandpa Barry was the mild-mannered bookish sort, but this...this wasn't right.

"Um, Sparky, think you could dial it back a little?"

[commanderspecs]

“I don’t think so, kid. It feels much more natural to be like this.”

He looked at Bart, then shook his head. More electricity seemed to ramp up around him.

[kid_flash_found]

"Maybe, but if you keep upping the power, you're going to short something out. All those joules have to go somewhere," Bart said, brow furrowing a little as he tries to pin down why this feels so wrong.

"Normally, I'm all with the whole 'embrace what you've got,' but what gives?"

[commanderspecs]

"You're right. They do need to go somewhere."

Barry turned his full attention on the youth and aims the bolts in his direction.

[kid_flash_found]

Well, that was rude. Bart doesn't even blink before blurring out of the way of the channel of superheated plasma arcing towards him, but the damage it does to the wall behind him may need some explaining.

"I didn't mean me. I'm already riding the lightning, thanks."

[commanderspecs]

"Riding the speed! But I suppose that's a great idea."

Barry's body seemed to turn into pure electricity before he lunged at the speedster.

[kid_flash_found]

The transformation is enough that this time Bart isn't quite fast enough to dodge, and he can't help the pained sound that escapes him as lightning of a different sort courses through him.

He stumbles backwards, trying to break the grip before it does more than just overload his synapses.

[commanderspecs]

He solidifies after he charged through Bart. He's no longer the mild mannered, bookish nerd. Barry is standing taller, more solidly, as currents run all over him.

"Stay out of my way, Bart," he warns darkly.

[kid_flash_found]

"Don't do this..." Bart manages to get out, his whole body still feeling like it's alight with pain. "Don't make me have to stop you."

He can't hurt Barry, not really. They're family, and that always makes things harder when they go wrong. Alternate universes and broken time don't matter when blood is involved.

[commanderspecs]

Barry scoffs at that, turning into electrical currents and charging at him again, this time concentrating on the voltage it would take to knock him out.

[kid_flash_found]

Bart screams at the pain Barry brings as once again every nerve is firing at once, the energy coursing through him faster than the Speed Force can heal him, and after a moment that seems to last forever, blackness consumes him, and the last conscious thought Bart has is a concern about just what he might wake up to.

[commanderspecs]

Once the kid falls, Barry frowns deeply.

"I can't have you here but I can't have you following me either."

He grabs the watch that Harry gave to him and puts it on Bart, turning up the dampener to the max, and somehow charring the bands so that it wouldn't be easily taken off.

The kid looks even smaller unconscious, somehow. All that bravado and energy make him seem larger than life, but even as his body continues to twitch irregularly from the current still wreaking havoc on his nervous system, he doesn't actually react.

If anything, then device on his wrist will mean he stays under longer, as his body tries to respond to everything at normal speed.

Barry picks him up. He really does look like a kid. He puts him on the couch so that he could recover and the communication device nearby so that he could call STAR Labs for help. He leaves the apartment after draping a blanket on the kid.

He isn't inhuman.

And what brought on this temper tantrum, hm?

Decided that I can take control of my powers myself.

Being stuck in this place makes me angry. The-the-the fact that Julian surpassed me when we both started at the same time?!

[The entire apartment fills up with more and more electrical discharges.]

And why let just you and Barry have all the fun?

[Guess what, Sav? Barry doesn't answer. He just turns into pure electricity and goes into a light socket to escape into the city]
