[text] locked to Cisco - post Movie Night

Cisco, are you in your workshop?

Because she wanted to catch up with him after what had happened at movie night. She and Oliver did not pry into their discussion or try to eavesdrop since it had been a very sensitive matter to them and they needed as much privacy as they could get in a theatre and being trapped.

But her best friend certainly had seemed...happier after their talk. Even with Mick draping his arm around the back of the seat in a very classic move.

Cisco looks up from his gauntlets when he hears his phone buzz. The text makes him smile. He and Caitlin have been better since the movie night mishap. Happier. And while he's still planning his revenge on his best buddy, he'd be lying if he said it hadn't gone well.

Yeah. I'm just working on my gear.

She makes her way out from where she had been logging in data in the medical lab with Pilot happily chirring away on her shoulder and out to where Cisco's workshop was. If there's a spring in her step, that's just something that's new. New shoes. Yes, she'd blame it on that. It doesn't take long before she pokes her head in.

But Pilot has other plans, already launching himself from Caitlin's shoulder to try and find Pascal.

Pascal is comfortably curled up on the small bed Cisco had gotten for him. It's actually for a guinea pig, but it suits Pascal just fine. He chirps when he hears Pilot's skittering, ducking out of the way just in time.

Cisco laughs at them, spinning around in his chair.

"Hey, Cait," he greets.

She shakes her head at the dragons then makes her way over to where his chair is, leaning against the table near him.

"Looks like movie night was a success for you." She can't hold back her smile. "Told you that you deserve happily ever after," she teases.

Cisco smiles up at her. He can't help it. These last few days have been amazing.

"Yeah, maybe you're right," he agrees. "But I'm not the one who got a steamy kiss out of it." Oh yeah. He saw that, Cait.

Her cheeks turn red at that.

"We tried to be discreet. How have things been at your place since then?"

[goodviberations]

"Good. Yeah, things have been good."

They've been spending more time together, and even though things haven't changed too much, it's the little things. An arm around his shoulders when they're on the couch together. Shoulders pressed together in the kitchen as they cook.

"But Barry is still gonna get an earful."

That gets her attention and she is grinning.

“What are you thinking of doing to get back at him—I mean, thank him for that little stunt?”

[goodviberations]

"Well, the cold shoulder, for one. You know Barry hates being ignored."

[snowandfrost]

"That would really get to him."

And probably would be enough, knowing their best friend.

"We should probably thank him too."

[goodviberations]

"Yeah, we probably should," he agrees. These last few days have been amazing, and it's because Barry took the leap where Cisco hadn't been brave enough to.

She tilts her head a little.

"Does Barry need our intervention for something?" she asks, hoping that would lead into that kind of conversation that they could help him with. Because babysitting Barney was something they would do anyway.

[goodviberations]

"Not that I know of?" Cisco purses his lips for a second, thinking. "He hasn't mentioned anything. And honestly? It probably wouldn't be right for us to."

Especially since Cisco was genuinely a little upset at being manipulated.

He had a point. Turning things around like that never really ended well.

"How about dinner? The three of us, pizza, and maybe even a musical?"

[goodviberations]

"That sounds perfect," he agrees with a smile. "I can't even remember the last time it was just the three of us hanging out."

[snowandfrost]

She laughs. "Me neither."

Well, they had been busy with saving the world on a weekly basis, it seems.

"I guess that's just another good thing to come out of being trapped here. You think we could use that theatre again?"

[goodviberations]

"If it sticks around, yeah," he confirms. "We can order in. The three of us, pigging out in front of a big screen."

[snowandfrost]

"I could see if Oliver could whip up a feast for us. Maybe we could pile a bunch of blankets together and lift the arms of the seats to get close to each other."

Cisco definitely isn't going to say no to a cuddle pile with his best friends.

"I'll see if I can get Mick to make us some brownies."

[snowandfrost]

"That sounds kind of like a perfect night."

She doesn't resist moving over and hugging her best friend again, glad that he and Mick were able to sort things out.
