It's Finally Movie Night!
This is it, guys. Finally, finally they're going to have the movie night they've been talking about for months. It's been a rough few weeks on most of them, and Cisco is determined to cheer everyone up. He'd stumbled across a 40s movie theatre- the kind that would have shown nickelodeons back in the day- and decided that it was the perfect venue for them. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and they could set up a snack table in front of the small stage beneath the screen.
Party time, here they come.
Party time, here they come.
Trapped!
Hanging on the main door they will find a note.
'Guys -
This is for your own good. Figure things out. We'll be back in two hours.'

Mick is still a seat away, shoveling popcorn into his mouth at a frankly alarming rate. Caitlin- and she is Caitlin again. How weird- is in the row behind him, looking confused. And Oliver is in the corner, looking like a mopey teen. But that's it. Everyone else is gone.
For a split second, he worries. Had something happened? Had the others needed to rush out to deal with some crisis? He pushes to his feet, making his way to the aisle to attempt to get out to the lobby. But the doors won't budge.
Which is when he sees the note, written in his best friend's handwriting.
"I'm gonna kill him."

A frown as he turns and notices that they're down a few people and Cisco and the Doc are staring at the door like it's somehow personally betrayed them.
With a grumble he stops the movie and stomps over to the door. "What's the problem?"

He can admit that he'd started to hope a little bit. After the whole thing with the book and Mick trusting him to know he'd written it. Barry and Caitlin had been so sure that Prince Zien was supposed to be him, and they hadn't even known they were right about the author.
"Barry and the others locked us in," he explains. And he's got a feeling that the power dampeners he helped Harry build for Caitlin apply to all of them.

Shrug. "So, just blast the damn doors and get us out."
no subject
Oops, did he just admit that he'd planned on trapping Caitlin and Oliver in here?
no subject
"You wanna run that by me again?"
no subject
There is gonna be hell to pay, Harry. Just you wait.
no subject
"And there's a reason he keyed it to our powers why?"
no subject
He's gonna have to come clean, isn't he? He's gonna have to tell Mick about his feelings.
"Because...because they knew I would try to run."
no subject
Nope. That's not something akin to hope fluttering in his chest. Because it isn't.
"Run from what? Me?"
no subject
"From what they want me to tell you," he corrects.
no subject
"Tell me what?" he prompts after a long silence.

Her eyes widen when she realizes that the dampener she worked on for Cisco had to have had a duplicate that was able to dampen her powers--
Oh no.

Only he didn't come back. Neither did Savitar.
He's on his feet, moving to read the note.
Oh he's gonna shoot Barry twice for this little stunt. "There has to be another way out."
no subject
She nods and begins to look around.
“They even took Pilot.”

"Can I talk to you?"
no subject
"I...should have talked to you before. But...Oliver, what was the last thing that happened with Team Arrow and Team Flash before you came here?" she asks.
no subject
"I know most of you are from further ahead in what will be my future. But I can't remember what has happened to me yet."
no subject
And Sara had just left.
"Oh, Oliver."
Caitlin steps forward and puts her arms around his shoulders, hugging him tightly. That means that he would have been from the same time they were dealing with Zoom.
"I'm sorry," she whispers, "I wanted to talk but I just...got so afraid every time because I didn't want to hurt you or hurt Felicity. I thought you'd...be better off without me."
no subject
"With me."

It feels good to have his arms around her and Caitlin lets herself feel it, feel the warmth of the archer and the solid presence of him. She pulls back a little and looks at him as he says that he's better with her here with him. Confusion colors her features for a moment.
"Better? Who says you're not better just as you are? I always thought that you were improving yourself but you're not a bad person just as you are."
no subject
"Better is easier with you, Cait."
no subject
She relaxes in his arms and it shows.
"Not a lot of things are easy with me, Oliver." But he knows, doesn't he? He knows about Killer Frost, about being on Team Flash. "You realize you get two for the price of one, right?" But Felicity. "What about Felicity?"
no subject
"Felicity.. she's my friend. She will always be my friend, but from what I remember, it wasn't going to work out. I don't want to be beholden to a future I don't remember, a future that might not be the same if we ever do find a way home."
His hand cups her cheek. "I would much rather figure out that future with you, Caitlin Snow."
