It's Finally Movie Night!
This is it, guys. Finally, finally they're going to have the movie night they've been talking about for months. It's been a rough few weeks on most of them, and Cisco is determined to cheer everyone up. He'd stumbled across a 40s movie theatre- the kind that would have shown nickelodeons back in the day- and decided that it was the perfect venue for them. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and they could set up a snack table in front of the small stage beneath the screen.
Party time, here they come.
Party time, here they come.
A Conspiracy is Afoot
Harry Wells - OTA but aimed at the conspirators
However this is a special occasion. Tucked away in his jacket are the necessary power dampeners as well as the two remotes to activate them.
It's for Ramon and Snow's own good.

And it's good to see Allen on his feet again, looking more like his (overeager, enthusiastic) self again. "Allen."
"Oh. I have something for you."
A watch with a glowing blue face. "You'll have to charge it daily, but that will act as a power dampener until you get things under control."

He sets down the bourbon on what seemed to serve as a wet bar and makes his way over, surprised that Doctor Wells had something for him. Barry's eyes widen when he sees what the man had in hand.
"I--" He's touched. "You really meant it." He smiles a little. "How does it work? How does it charge? Is it only by skin contact? How much does it dampen?" And there he goes, a million questions at a mile a minute.

Harry waves off the questions. "Tomorrow you can come to the labs and I'll show you the full breakdown of how it works and why. For now, put it on and just relax."

He takes the watch and puts it on, fingers bumbling a little at his own excitement. As soon as Barry activates it, there's a strange sense of calm that washes over him and he beams at the older man before launching himself forward for a tight hug.
"Thank you so much, Doctor Wells."

And well. He'd been married before.
"Mhm," a nod. "I'll hand them off to the speedsters and they'll get us all out of here once they're placed."

"I'd love to stay and watch Mick pull his head out of his ass," Leo comments, "but this really the best plan. He won't make a move on his own if we don't help."

Trapped!
Hanging on the main door they will find a note.
'Guys -
This is for your own good. Figure things out. We'll be back in two hours.'

Mick is still a seat away, shoveling popcorn into his mouth at a frankly alarming rate. Caitlin- and she is Caitlin again. How weird- is in the row behind him, looking confused. And Oliver is in the corner, looking like a mopey teen. But that's it. Everyone else is gone.
For a split second, he worries. Had something happened? Had the others needed to rush out to deal with some crisis? He pushes to his feet, making his way to the aisle to attempt to get out to the lobby. But the doors won't budge.
Which is when he sees the note, written in his best friend's handwriting.
"I'm gonna kill him."

A frown as he turns and notices that they're down a few people and Cisco and the Doc are staring at the door like it's somehow personally betrayed them.
With a grumble he stops the movie and stomps over to the door. "What's the problem?"
no subject
He can admit that he'd started to hope a little bit. After the whole thing with the book and Mick trusting him to know he'd written it. Barry and Caitlin had been so sure that Prince Zien was supposed to be him, and they hadn't even known they were right about the author.
"Barry and the others locked us in," he explains. And he's got a feeling that the power dampeners he helped Harry build for Caitlin apply to all of them.

Shrug. "So, just blast the damn doors and get us out."

Her eyes widen when she realizes that the dampener she worked on for Cisco had to have had a duplicate that was able to dampen her powers--
Oh no.

Only he didn't come back. Neither did Savitar.
He's on his feet, moving to read the note.
Oh he's gonna shoot Barry twice for this little stunt. "There has to be another way out."

She nods and begins to look around.
“They even took Pilot.”

Crystal - Diner after being sped out - OTA
She tried to get her bearings once the world stopped rushing around her. Crys still clutched her bag of popcorn with one hand still raised with a long gone handful of popcorn. Probably somewhere along the trail between where she was at the theatre at Tio's party and the diner.
Crys took a hesitant step, just in case she was being whisked away again just as quickly. It looked like some of the other guests from the party were there with her. Though, she frowned, she didn't see Cisco. Or that man that seemed to not ever want to be far away from Cisco. Or Caitlin. Or...Oliver. When it didn't seem like she was going to be sped away somewhere else, Crys let out a breath, sitting down at the counter.
