"Yeah, I've been told bits and pieces," he pulls himself up, glaring daggers at the intern who tries to get him to lay back and rest. "It seems that most everyone here is light years ahead of me and I'm left playing catch up."

"Tell me you're okay back home. That you're happy."

"Oliver Jonas Queen. You lay back down right now," Felicity said, using her loud voice to let him know she was serious. Felicity nodded, sitting more forward in her chair.

"About 2 1/2 to three years if the last thing you remember is JJ being born," Felicity smiled before taking his hand. "Happier then I've been in years actually. The last couple of years have been tough." Felicity took a breath. "I got hurt a couple of years ago and I couldn't walk for awhile, but I'm okay now... I mean obviously because I can totally walk. Things are good. How about you?"

Sara comes into his life only to be ripped away. Again.

Oliver scrubs a hand across his face. How many people in his life does he fail to protect? Or should he start asking where he succeeds? Maybe that list will be just as short as he fears it is.

Felicity knew exactly what Oliver was doing because she had done the same thing a few months ago. She stood up and moved to the bed, perching on it, taking both of his hands into hers.

"Listen to me Oliver, you are a good man, a man who fights injustices because you believe that everyone deserves a chance. What happened to me, you couldn't have stopped okay? I can walk because of technology and you know how much I love tech."

She smiled. "I know it's a lot, but you seem happy here. Are you happy?"
