She didn't think about that. That this Oliver had been from the past. They really didn't have an opportunity to chat about when they each were from. The time they had spent together had been about...everything else. Caitlin looked over at Oliver, then back at Felicity. She gives her another reassuring squeeze, despite all of the information she just gave.

"No one ever said that you need to let him go. Maybe you just get a second chance at falling in love with each other again. Without...all that."

She let go, feeling that coldness rise up inside of her, and looked back down at her tablet, seeing that she had other patients to check in on.

"I need to go see how the others are reacting to the treatments we're providing. But you should go visit him. He might be happy to see you."

Felicity looked at her friend in confusion for a second before calling out.

"Caitlin wait!" Felicity closed her eyes for a second before opening them up again. "That isn't going to happen. Oliver said his goodbyes to me Cait, in the hospital. He kissed me and I told him I wished he hadn't done that because I deserved more. And I did... I do. The Oliver in that bed is a man who let me go because he thought he was protecting me. He's going to live his life here, thinking that he is doing the right thing. This Oliver is not the man that saved his son from an exploding island, gave up the mask for William and fell in love with me again."

She reached out to Cait. "He's a different man, Caitlin, still the best man I know, but he doesn't know me... not really. We're not together for him."

She stopped when Felicity reached out to her, confusion coloring her features. Caitlin knew she had missed...a lot while she was gone. She took in what Felicity was saying and tucked her tablet under her arm, giving her friend a reassuring smile.

"Take it from someone who had a second chance to fall in love with her husband taken away from her, Felicity. If I had an opportunity like you do now, even if it was Ronnie from the past, I wouldn't let it go."

She gave the blonde a gentle push.

"If he fell in love with you again back home, then he could fall in love with you again here."

In her head, Felicity knew that Cait was right, but something wasn't meshing and she didn't know what it was. She hated mysteries.

"I know. I'm sorry. You're right, but he doesn't love me here, not like that. And circumstances threw us together, you know that. Circumstances that don't exist here. He could fall in love with someone else, just as easily as he could me."

Caitlin gave a small laugh.

"Felicity, it's going to be okay. Just...go talk to him," she urged. "Really, seeing familiar faces after a health scare is probably one of the best medicines you can have. Even if he is different here, he still is one of your closest friends, isn't he? So maybe you could start there. I would find it really hard to imagine Oliver not wanting to see you."

Felicity smiled, moving to give her friend a hug. She pulled back slightly. "You're right, as usual," She said pulling back slightly.

"There will never be a time when he won't be my friend."

"Exactly." She let her go. "Now you go talk to him while I've got other patients to look after?"
