"Are you suddenly a medical doctor who's an expert on metahuman physiology?" she asks innocently.

He frowns at her. "I have medical training and uh, yes?" A man who is able to create metas probably knows something about them.

"Training and being a doctor are two different things."

She should know. She isn't going to mention she dropped out of medical school.

"Until you break yourself and then what are we going to do with you?"

"Let me be?" A shrug. "Annoy me until I spontaneously repair?"
