Date: 2018-03-11 07:14 pm (UTC)Pilot gives a happy squawk and head butted Oliver’s hand happily before giving Caitlin a happy growl. She lets out a breath she hadn’t realized she had been holding.
“How are you feeling?”
She’s fighting the urge to grab depressors and her pen light to look over him herself.

Pilot raises his head and gives her a look because he thinks his caretaker is being silly about her feelings. Caitlin fiddles with the blanket instead. "I'm just glad we didn't lose you, Oliver," she says softly, looking at him.

Date: 2018-03-14 09:28 pm (UTC)PIlot huffs a small cloud of smoke and settles. Caitlin squeezes his hand back. A date. The important part is that she didn't lose him. The tension melts out of Caitlin's shoulders and she lets their fingers tangle with each other.
"Good," she says quietly. "I wouldn't want you to be late for our date."

"You shouldn't be patrolling for at least a week, Oliver," Caitlin replies with an apologetic smile. "Your body needs to be given a chance to actually recover." Pilot doesn't like that and snaps at her fingers. "But we still can spend time together until you're back on your feet?"
