No luck. Not from his new friend. Crys looks at the empty power bar wrappers and nudges them into the trash. He had looked asleep but she had a feeling that he wasn't quite there.

"Hospital volunteer when I was in high school. A few friends and I would get money together to buy kids little teddy bears whenever they've been through an ordeal," she explains, taking a seat next to the bed. "Heard you were out there making a difference."

He was probably closer to sleep earlier, when they first got back from their run, than he is now.

"Guess you should send one to Mick Rory then, huh." Mick Rory and a teddy bear? How could she resist? "All I did was run."

[froststorm]

"Not from what I heard. You were part of the team that managed to make everyone better again. Kind of need to deal with being a hero for today," she replies.

Crys doesn't know why she's visiting him. But she supposes that he, the kid, and the other B were her friends for now. Maybe Sam. Either way, she, like a few others, is trying to deal with things being mixed up the best way she can.

"You're kind of the talk of the medical labs. All of you."

"I'm sure we're being well paid in saline and power bars. A few hundred tubes of glucogel." Did he mention all the running? So much running.

"Come on. I'm sure most of that's Barry and Bart."

She rolls her eyes and gives an exasperated sigh, sitting back and crossing her arms.

"Is that part of the Fall Out Boy routine, sunshine? Not wanting to be acknowledged for something good"

He sighs. "It's not a routine. And don't call me that."

[froststorm]

"Really, Paramore? I mean...the hair?"

Crys motions at the hair.

"The aversion to any kind of color? Pouting whenever someone says something nice?"

She doesn't buy it, not for a second.

"I don't have an aversion to color. I like blue!" He even let Cisco put blue things in his apartment. Proof!

[froststorm]

That gets her to smile a little. Still, she glances at his clothes: black.

"Weird shade of blue there."

[vivifier]

"Don't be an ass." Says Savitar.

[froststorm]

She snorts.

"Okay, pot, I'll believe it when I see you actually wear blue."

[vivifier]

"I don't need you to believe anything."

[froststorm]

"No, you don't need to."

She makes a thoughtful noise.

"Why don't you like being acknowledged that you've done a good thing agian?"

[vivifier]

He closes his eyes again. "Why does it need to be?"

[froststorm]

"Why couldn't it be? You've done something good, the world should know about it, Happy."

[vivifier]

"What is it with you and Bart and nicknames?" Change of subject, here we go.

[froststorm]

"What is it with you and not wanting others to know about good things you've done?" she retorts.

"Because it's not important. Now you."

[froststorm]

"Why isn't it important?"

[vivifier]

"Why would it be?"

[froststorm]

"I asked first."

She could keep up with this all day.

"Doesn't mean I have to answer you."

[froststorm]

"You've been answering so far," she points out.

"Then I guess it's your turn."
