He can't help but think that it's got to be a little bit startling when he squeezes her hand, carefully. And then pulls her in to hug her. But honestly, he has had a lot of metahuman alcohol and there are so few people in this world or any other that he'd actually believe if they said something like that to him. Kara Danvers is on that list. Honestly? Kara may be the entirety of that list, at least for now.
