Who: Cisco
What: Vlogging for his peeps
Where" Downtown
[The feed cuts on to a smiling Cisco as he walks down the street in downtown LA. It's bright and sunny outside- not that that's odd for Los Angeles- and the good weather clearly has the meta in high spirits.]
Dude, where is everybody? It's such a nice day. The sun is shining, birds are singing. Literally. Check it.
[The screen flips to show a flock of birds occupying a nearby tree. They're very clearly not native to southern California, but Cisco has gotten used to the weird. The image flips back to face Cisco. At the very edge of the screen, there's a white light. One of the time portals has opened up behind him, but he doesn't seem to notice.]
Anyway, I was thinking of doing something today. Haven't really figured out what, but if-
[The whole image shakes, then blurs before the phone clearly hits the ground and the screen blacks out entirely. There are sounds of a struggle, shouts in an ancient-sounding language and the vibrational sounds of Cisco's powers.
And then there's silence.]

Not a problem.
[she holds up a hand, curling it into a fist as ice forms around her forearm and extends into a sword. She only raises it before the Vikings seem to scatter and head as far away from them as possible.]
no subject
They probably thought you were a witch or something.
[Or something, more likely. But Cisco isn't exactly a Norse history aficionado.]
no subject
Come on, let's get you checked out before you die of internal bleeding or something.
no subject
I don't think I should breach.
no subject
no subject
Uh, yeah?
no subject
[Once she's sure he's pretty secure, she creates the ice slide]
STAR Labs. We can take a better look at you there.
no subject
Fair warning, I might throw up on you.
[The concussion has him woozy, and sliding around isn't going to help.]
no subject
[She actually slides them over slower than she normally would, mindful of his stomach and concussion.]
no subject
Regardless, it's a relief when his feet are firmly on solid ground.]
no subject
Cisco, can you tell me what happened?
no subject
Vikings. I got jumped by vikings.
no subject
[She's fascinated but she works on cleaning and patching up his wounds]
no subject
no subject
You still did really well despite an onslaught of Vikings. Whole nations have fallen for a smaller raid.
[She gives him a final look and runs the numbers through the tablet she's picked up]
You should be okay to go. But maybe hold off on adventures for a little bit?
no subject
You're literally saying that to a superhero who's trapped in a place where time is broken. Adventure is kind of a given.
no subject
[she laughs a little at that]
Maybe have a buddy system until your injuries are healed up? This is short of me ordering bed rest for you.
no subject
[Maybe he can bug Mick into keeping him company. Or he can annoy Savitar for a little while. He's sure he can find someone.]
Thanks, Cait.
no subject
Anyone in mind?
And anytime, Cisco.
[she gives him a hug]
no subject
[He accepts the hug easily, hugging her back.]
no subject
Mick? He seems nice enough.
no subject
[Sorry, Cait. He'd realized telling Barry about his crush was a bad idea. You're gonna have to wait for his admission.]
Either way, I'll make sure someone's around in case I need help.
no subject
no subject
[He'd seen it firsthand. Mick isn't the same guy who'd kidnapped them.]
no subject
And besides, aren't you rooming with him? You wouldn't stay with him all this time if he wasn't a good person.
no subject
[Cisco shakes his head.]
Yeah. He's a good guy. As long as you don't try to tell him that.
no subject
[None of them would, really. She chuckles a little]
What does he do if you try?
no subject
no subject
[She gasps]
Not the curls!
no subject
He would totally do it if I bugged him enough.
no subject
[She hugs him]
He doesn't understand the unwritten law. One does not mess with the curls.
no subject
no subject
Good call. Maybe hide some here.
[She looks around then back at him, lowering her voice]
It's still weird to see so many people at STAR Labs.
no subject
[It's like it was before the particle accelerator. Sometimes it gives him the heebie jeebies.]
no subject
Almost like how it was before, isn’t it?
no subject
[It's moments like this where he remembers everything they'd lost. There are days he still misses Ronnie like a physical ache, and he can't imagine what it must be like for Caitlin. And despite everything he'd done, everyone he'd hurt, sometimes Cisco even misses Wells. Thawne. Whatever. The man had been his mentor. A father figure his own dad had never come close to.]

Check in with me tomorrow morning? I wanna make sure that your wounds heal up correctly.
