PIlot huffs a small cloud of smoke and settles. Caitlin squeezes his hand back. A date. The important part is that she didn't lose him. The tension melts out of Caitlin's shoulders and she lets their fingers tangle with each other.

"Good," she says quietly. "I wouldn't want you to be late for our date."

"I wouldn't dare," he promises with a small smile. "Give me another day or two to get back on my feet and we'll do just that."

Pilot chirps happily at that prospect, then moves to settle on Oliver's stomach.

"You shouldn't be patrolling for at least a week, Oliver," Caitlin replies with an apologetic smile. "Your body needs to be given a chance to actually recover." Pilot doesn't like that and snaps at her fingers. "But we still can spend time together until you're back on your feet?"
